Welcome to Adlington and District in Bloom Action Group’s Website.
The group was formed in 2007, and operates in Adlington, Anderton, and Heath Charnock, which each have their own town or parish council.
The group has entered the annual ‘North West in Bloom’ competition in the past, and it has been successful in receiving awards as shown on the ‘Awards’ page.
The group supports Adlington’s entry into the Lancashire Best Keot Village competition, and Lower Adlington win the best large village award in 2022, with Higher Adlington as the runner up.
We receive sponsorship for the many planters that we have installed and maintained around the area from local businesses, councils, and individuals, and have received grants from various bodies for some of our major projects. In addition we hold some fund-raising events during the year.
